GOLD YEAR

You’re valuable. You’re being refined. You’re worth more than gold.

Each year at VESSELS, we embrace a new theme that shapes our club experience all year long — from our teaching and memory verses to crafts, decor, celebrations and even what we wear to club each week.

This year's theme is GOLD.

"But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God's paths, I have followed his ways and not turned aside."

Job 23:10–11

Through the stories of Biblical women, girls will discover that their value does not come from performance, popularity or perfection, but from the unchanging love of God. Even in seasons of difficulty, refinement or insecurity, God sees them as deeply loved and incredibly valuable.

Girls will hear truths like:

"You're God's favorite."

And because God's love is perfect, one person being loved deeply never takes away from another person being loved deeply too.

MEMORIZE

Scripture Memory & Jewelry

There are four scriptures to memorize this year. Girls must say all four at the same time to earn their VESSELS necklace. There are also two bonus charms girls can earn this year for saying the GOLD Year verse during first semester and the Lord’s Prayer during second semester.

Memorizing Scripture is completely optional, but girls are rewarded with points and jewelry when they choose to participate.

Girls will receive verse cards in their notebook during club, but we’ve also provided printable versions and musical playlists to help make memorization easier and more fun throughout the week.
